◆ New York-Newark-Jersey City·NY grader
Brooklyn restaurant grader.
Free, real numbers, no fluff.
Bay Ridge's Fifth Avenue is Brooklyn's Arab dining spine — Yemeni coffee houses, Palestinian bakeries, Levantine grills — in a borough of 2.7 million. Even under NYC's commission cap, fees stack on every order.

residents make Brooklyn populous enough to rank among America's largest cities on its own — and Bay Ridge's Fifth Avenue corridor is its Arab dining spine, from Yemeni coffee to Levantine grills.
What Brooklyn operators tell us first
- Bay Ridge grills and bakeries where marketplace fees and marketing charges stack even under NYC's 15% delivery-commission cap
- Knafeh, mansaf trays, and family platters flattened into single-item listings on third-party menus
- Independents competing on the same app screen as every chain in the five boroughs
- Arabic-speaking regulars ordering through English-only marketplace apps
How the grader works
We pull your Google Business Profile, scan your website, and check 8 nearby same-type competitors via Google Places. Every finding cites a real number from those sources. Every dollar leak is published as a {low, mid, high} range with the assumptions on the methodology page. No black box, no invented competitor names.
Brooklyn FAQ
Doesn't NYC already cap delivery commissions?+
It did — NYC capped delivery commission at 15% plus 5% for other fees, but a June 2025 settlement with DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub loosened it: platforms can now stack a 3% card fee, a 5% platform fee, and an optional enhanced-marketing fee of up to 20% on top of the 15%, up to 43% per order. Direct orders on Zayos carry no commission at all; diners pay a flat $0.99 pickup / $2.99 delivery service fee and the restaurant keeps 100% of food revenue and tips.
Does Zayos work for Bay Ridge restaurants?+
Yes. Onboarding is location-agnostic and fully remote, and the live Florida deployment is a halal Levantine grill — shawarma, mixed grills, mezze, and catering trays are the ordering patterns the platform is tuned on.
Does the storefront support Arabic?+
Yes. English / Arabic / Spanish / French at the route level with right-to-left Arabic rendering, and bilingual item names so regulars can read the menu in their own language.
How long does Brooklyn onboarding take?+
Most operators are live in under two weeks: direct ordering surface, Otter connection for marketplace ingestion, and menu setup. No setup fee, month-to-month.
